I had some Noro Arale and Drops Baby Alpaca Silk yarn left from my Christmas knitting (yeah! “it only neaaly mid November and about half of them is done!).

Well, it’s a shame for such beautiful yarns to be lying around doing nothing. So, i decided to make a hat 🙂 It’s very simple, but cute and i like it. Especially that little crocheted pom pom. By the way, Noro yarn crochets rather nicely 🙂

If You happen to have some precious left over yarn, make one too, it’s more than easy:

  • Knit a desired width and needed length garter st edge (i used 2.5 mm deedles and CO 16 st). Warning: while admiring the colors of Noro You may find yourself knitting a scarf instead of and edging for a hat 😀
  • When the edging is done graft its ends.
  • With another yarn pick up stitches around the edge and continue knitting your hat.
  • When it is done, don’t forget to crochet a lovely pom pom and sew it on the top of the hat.

Here You are – yarn is engaged in keeping You head nice and warm! 🙂
